Frank Melcom "Dameon Ash" Mantan Bassist Avenged Sevenfold
Frank Melcom (alias Dameon Ash) adalah seorang bassis asal Amerika, dikenal sebagai mantan bassist band Avenged Sevenfold. Selama beberapa periode dimana band ini telah mempunyai beberapa bassis. Antara lain Justin Sane, dan sebelum mereka memutuskan Johnny Christ sebagai anggota band untuk memainkan bass pada lagu-lagu mereka hingga sekarang.
Dameon Ash adalah bassis ketiga Avenged Sevenfold setelah sepeninggalan Matt Wendt, dan Justin Sane dari band. Dameon juga ada pada rilis-ulang album pertama Avenged Sevenfold "Sounding The Sevent Troumpet" dan dikreditkan sebagai pemain bass di album ini. Terlepas dari kenyataan bahwa dia ditempatkan pada album ini, ada perselisihan umum bahwa ia tidak hanya pernah menjadi anggota band, tetapi juga tidak bermain di album tersebut. Namun, dia dikabarkan bermain dan merekam di album "Waking Fallen Demo" (terdiri dari lagu-lagu seperti "Second Heartbeat", "Eternal Rest", "Chapter Four", dan "Remenissions" pada tahun 2002 silam.
Dia juga pernah bermain musik secara live bersama band sampai dia memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri pada akhir tahun 2002.

Ciri khas yang dapat dinikmati dalam setiap lagu A7X adalah nyanyian yang melodik dan screaming, hardcore riffs dan storming drum-beats. Dalam hal bermusik, Avenged Sevenfold banyak dipengaruhi oleh band-band seperti Pantera, NOFX, Misfits, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Dream Theater dan Iron Maiden.
Mereka cenderung memainkan nuansa agresif pada vokal, gitar, dan drum (bass tetap statis). Dengan sentuhan yang dinamis, mau keras atau lambat, mereka tetap menggunakan harmonisasi yang luar biasa dan komposisi yang teratur. Sebut saja lagu-lagu yang sedikit melow, seperti Seize The Day dan Dear God, gitarnya tetap di drop Dm seperti halnya metal-metal kebanyakan. Kemudian, ciri khasnya selain komposisi dan drop, Syn memasukkan nuansa sweep picking (arpeggio) di hampir semua lagunya. Keindahan sweep picking yang dipadukan dengan kromatik, slide, dan teknik-teknik lainnya bisa kita dengar di lagu The Wicked End. Kemudian selain itu, tidak lupa juga sentuhan akustik yang membawa suasana seperti di Hawaii, bisa kita dengar di lagu Sidewinder. Rahasia angka 6661 pada Gitar Zacky Vengeance
Angka 6661 disebut juga angka Iblis (Devil), dimana angka 6661 adalah symbol dari Satanic atau Satanisme, yaitu orang yang menyembah setan.Tapi kalian jangan pada salah paham dulu, ini bukan berarti Zacky itu ikut satanisme, simbol 6661 pada guitarnya hanya stiker semata bukan karena maksud lain. Mungkin Zacky hanya terinspirasi dari nama band-nya. Dan seorang Zacky masih mempunyai agama yang diakui dunia. Selain 6661 juga ada symbol lain yang berkaitan dengan Satanic ini, yaitu logo Pentagram dimana ditengah-tengah logo terdapat kepala kambing, dan kepala kambing itu adalah mutlak sebagai logo Setan. Logo pentagram ini juga terdapat pada kitab Bible, yaitu kitab pedoman bagi kaum Satanic dan dari kitab Bible-lah nama Avenged Sevenfold diciptakan. Yang berarti Terbalasdendamkan Tujuhkali Lipat. Maksudnya, dalam kitab tersebut terdapat perintah/larangan dan konsekuensi yang menyebutkan akan dapat hukuman tujuh kali lipat. Kemudian Zacky menyimpulkannya menjadi terbalasdendamkan hukuman tersebut. AVENGED SEVENFOLD. Meskipun Avenged Sevenfold agak bertajuk religious (Bible) namun band tersebut sama sekali tidak bermaksud untuk berdakwah tentang agama ataupun mengunggul-unggulkan ke-religian.

5 Fakta Singkat Arin Ilejay
- arin mulai bermain drum pada umur sembilan tahun
- arin belajar main drum dari ayahnya sendiri
- Sebelum menggunakan DW drum, Arin menggunakan drum bermerk Pork Pie drums
- Arin juga ikut mengisi drum pada lagu terbaru Avenged Sevenfold yang berjudul "Not Ready to Die" untuk soundtrack game "Call Of Duty : Black Ops"
- Arin Ilejay sekilas mirip pemain bola Real Madrid mesut Ozil
Profil Arin Ilejay
Arin Ilejay mungkin adalah drummer yang paling terkenal untuk aliran post-hardcore di California dengan band nya dulu Confide. Ia tampil dalam album album berjudul Shout The Truth’ (2008) dan ditahun 2008, mereka mengadakan Warped Tour. Arin Ilejay menerima posisi Artist Relations Manager dengan TRX Cymbals pada February 2009. Setelah itu Arin Ilejay keluar dari Confide dan digantikan oleh Joel Piper.
Pada bulan Januari 2011 Arin Ilejay bergabung Avenged Sevenfold sebagai Additional Drummer baru menggantikan Mike Portnoy, yang telah mengisi pada posisi ini setelah kematian Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan pada bulan Desember 2009.
